vLex Fastcase 50 Awards: Terms and Conditions for Entry and Nominations

Eligibility

Nominees must be professionals within the legal sector, including lawyers, legal technologists, judges, law librarians, bar association executives, or individuals making a significant impact in related fields, over 18 years of age. Nominators are responsible for ensuring that their nominees are aware of and consent to their nomination and the associated terms and conditions.

Nominations

All nominations must be submitted through the official vLex Fastcase 50 nomination form available on our website. Nominators must provide accurate and complete information for both themselves and their nominees. Incomplete entries may not be considered.

Data Protection and Privacy

By submitting a nomination, nominators and nominees agree to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal data by vLex. This includes any personal details provided in the nomination form. All personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy, which is available on our website. Please see vlex.com/terms for more information. Personal data provided will be used for the purpose of processing and administering the vLex Fastcase 50 awards, alongside other marketing activities conducted by vLex. This includes evaluating the nominations, communicating with nominators and nominees, and publicizing the awards.
Nominators must ensure that they have obtained consent from their nominees to share their personal information with us for these purposes.

Closing Date

All nominations must be submitted by the closing date as promoted on the vLex website (https://vlex.com/fastcase50). Nominations received after this date will not be considered for the current award cycle.

Use of Information and Publicity

Nominators and nominees consent to the use of their names and other relevant information in publicity material and announcements related to the vLex Fastcase 50 awards, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The organizers reserve the right to publish names and other relevant information of the nominees and the winners on various media platforms, including but not limited to websites, press releases, and social media.

General Terms

The decision of the judges and the organizing committee for the vLex Fastcase 50 awards is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcomes. The organizers reserve the right to change the terms and conditions, modify or cancel the awards as necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or if deemed necessary. By submitting a nomination, all parties agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
